Front Display And Control Head, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal. Note The Following:

NOTE:

If a new Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- with a Climatronic Control Module -J255- is installed, the replace control module function and a basic setting must be performed in the Guided Fault Finding or the Guided Functions.

When installing the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87-, it must be ensured that pressure is not exerted on the surfaces of the temperature regulator and the display while inserting. Excessive pressure can result in damage to the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87-.

-- Engage the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- into the frame by pressing on the indicated locations -arrows-. Ensure that no pressure is exerted on display -1- and regulator -2-.
