Engine, Supporting In Installed Position

- Engine Support Bridge:10-222A
- Engine Support - Bracket w/Spindle and Hook:10-222A/10
- Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 28:10-222A/28
- Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 29:10-222A/29
- Square Pipe from the Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091 (quantity: 2)
- Rail with Holes from the Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091
- Moveable Joint from the Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091 (quantity: 2)
- Moveable Joint from the Engine Support - Supplement Kit:T40093A (quantity: 2)
- Mount from the Engine Support - Supplement Kit:T40093A
-- Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM .
-- Remove the left plenum chamber cover. Refer to PLENUM CHAMBER COVER .
-- Remove the hood release cable from the retainers in direction of -arrows- and move it to the side.
-- Push the Moveable Joints:T40091/3 and Hook:10-222A/10 onto the square pipe of the Engine Support Bridge:10-222A .
-- Mount the Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 29:10-222A/29 onto the square pipe.
Do not place the engine support bridge on the metal tabs for the hood release cable.
-- Position the engine support bridge between the retainers for the hood release cable as illustrated.
-- Push the Moveable Joint:T40093/4 and Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 28:10-222A/28 onto the Square Pipe:T40091/1 .
-- Place the Engine Support Bridge - Engine Support 28:10-222A/28 on the longitudinal member and slide the Square Pipe:T40091/1 into the Moveable Joint:T40091/3 .
-- Repeat the procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
-- Slide the Rail with Holes:T40091/2 through the Moveable Joint:T40093/4 on one side.
-- Slide the Mount:T40093/5 onto the Rail with Holes:T40091/2 and then the rail with holes into the moveable joint on the other side.
-- Install the locking pin and secure it with a splint.
-- Tighten all threaded connections on the Engine Support Bridge hand-tight.
-- Attach the hooks on the spindle to the lifting eyes on the engine and hold the engine in its installed position.
