Electro-Mechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Turn Off The Ignition And All Electric Consumers And Remove The Key.

-- Remove the side trim panel from the right side of the luggage compartment. Refer to STORAGE COMPARTMENTS, COVERS AND TRIM .

-- Press the lock button -arrow- on both side toward the outside and remove the Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540- -1-. Pay attention to the wires still connected.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector -1- and then remove the Electromechanical Parking Brake Control Module -J540-.
