Overview - Level Control System Components

  1. Level Control System Control Module -J197-
  2. Left Rear Air Spring Shock Absorber
    • With Left Rear Damping Adjustment Valve -N338-
    • The Left Rear Damping Adjustment Valve -N338- can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to AIR SPRING SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  3. Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76-
    • Component location: on the rear subframe
    • Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT REAR LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR -G76- / -G77-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the Left Rear Level Control System Sensor -G76- was removed and then installed, a basic setting of the level control system must be performed with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
  4. Level Control System Control Head -E281-
    • Component location: inside the center console
    • Switch on the vehicle lift mode. Refer to VEHICLE LIFT MODE .
  5. Pressure Reservoir
  6. Left Front Body Acceleration Sensor -G341-
  7. Left Front Air Spring Shock Absorber
    • With Left Front Damping Adjustment Valve -N336-
    • The Left Front Damping Adjustment Valve -N336- can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to AIR SPRING SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  8. Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78-
    • Component location: in the left front wheel housing and on the upper control arm
    • Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT LEFT/RIGHT LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR -G78- / -G289-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the Left Front Level Control System Sensor -G78- was removed and then installed, a basic setting of the level control system must be performed with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
  9. Right Front Level Control Sensor -G289-
    • Component location: in the right front wheel housing and on the upper control arm
    • Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to FRONT LEFT/RIGHT LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR -G78- / -G289-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the Right Front Level Control Sensor -G289- was removed and then installed, a basic setting of the level control system must be performed with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
  10. Right Front Air Spring Shock Absorber
    • With Right Front Damping Adjustment Valve -N337-
    • The Right Front Damping Adjustment Valve -N337- can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to AIR SPRING SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  11. Right Front Body Acceleration Sensor -G342-
  12. Compressor with Adaptive Suspension Valve Block -NX7-
  13. Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77-
    • Component location: on the rear subframe
    • Can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to LEFT/RIGHT REAR LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM SENSOR -G76- / -G77-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
    • If the Right Rear Level Control System Sensor -G77- was removed and then installed, a basic setting of the level control system must be performed with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
  14. Right Rear Air Spring Shock Absorber
    • With Right Rear Damping Adjustment Valve -N339-
    • The Right Rear Damping Adjustment Valve -N339- can be tested in "Guided Fault Finding" with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to AIR SPRING SHOCK ABSORBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
