Front Bumper Cover: Disassembly

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
  2. If equipped.

    1. Disconnect the front park aid camera electrical connector.
    2. Detach the front camera washer hose coupling, separate the washer hose retainers and remove the washer hose line.

  3. Disconnect the front bumper cover wiring harness connectors.

  4. Separate the harness guides, harness retainers and remove the front bumper cover harness.

  5. On both sides. Remove the screws and the daytime running lamp.

  6. On both sides. Remove the screws and the foglamp assembly.

  7. On both sides. Remove the screw, release the tabs and remove the air curtain bezel.

  8. On both sides. Drill the rivets and remove the front bumper cover to fender bracket.

  9. If equipped. Drill the rivets and remove the license plate bracket.

  10. Remove the front parking aid sensors and front active park assist sensors.

    1. Release the tabs.
    2. Remove the front parking aid sensors and front active park assist sensors from the bracket.

  11. Release tabs and remove the front bumper lower grille cover.

  12. Drill the rivets, release the tabs and remove the front bumper bracket cover.

  13. Drill the rivets, release the tabs and remove the front bumper lower grille.

  14. On both sides. Remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the outer grille trim.

  15. Drill the rivets, remove the screws and the front bumper energy absorber.

  16. Remove the screws and the radiator grille.

    1. Remove the speed nuts and release the tabs.
    2. Remove the radiator grille emblem housing assembly.

  20. Release the tabs and remove the radiator grille frame.

  21. Drill the rivets, remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the lower valence.
