Vehicles with An Automatic Transmission 0BK
-- The following preparations must be made before connecting the engine and transmission:
-- Turn the torque converter so that hole next to the notch -arrow- is visible in the lower cut-out in the transmission housing as illustrated.
There is only 1 notch on the circumference; rotate the torque converter as needed.

-- Insert the :T40170 in the transmission housing from below and secure it on the flange shaft -1-.
The bolt -2- attaches the starter to the transmission and has an additional spacer sleeve -arrow-.
Pay attention to the spacer sleeve with removing or installing the engine -arrow-. The spacer sleeve must be inserted between the starter and the transmission.
-- Attach the transmission to the engine and tighten the bolts -1 to 11-. Tightening specification. Refer to TRANSMISSION TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS [For transmission(s) 0CK] or .

-- Release the tension from the :10-222A spindles.
-- Lower the Workshop crane and mount the engine and transmission onto the engine mount.
-- Install the left and right engine mount bolt -arrow-.
-- Remove the :VAS6100 and :2024A .
-- Install the remaining bolts that attach the engine to the transmission and tighten.
-- Remove the : T40170 and : T40169 .
The following procedure is necessary to assure that the drive plate and/or the torque converter contacts the drive plate evenly and does not get bent.
-- Press the drive plate/torque converter -2- against the drive plate -3- slightly in against the drive plate in the direction of -arrow- using an assembly lever -1-.
