Normal Operation
The Front Seat Climate Control Module (SCME) supplies a speed control signal voltage to the driver seat cushion TED on circuit RHS03 (GY/OG). The TED blower is supplied operating voltage from Front Seat Climate Control Module (SCME) output circuit CHS13 (VT/BN) and ground from Front Seat Climate Control Module (SCME) output circuit CHS03 (GN/BN).
- DTC B19A7 (Driver Seat Cushion Blower Speed Short to Ground) - If the driver seat cushion blower speed circuit is shorted to ground, the Front Seat Climate Control Module (SCME) will shut down the driver seat system and set this DTC.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- TED and blower assembly
- Front Seat Climate Control Module (SCME)
