Battery General Information

NOTE:
For vehicles with a high-voltage battery, the voltage for the 12V vehicle electrical system must be checked after disconnecting the 12V battery. If there is voltage, the high-voltage system must be de-energized.
To guarantee a long service life, the battery must be checked, serviced and maintained as described in this information.
In addition to supplying the power to start the engine, the battery acts as a power reserve for the entire vehicle electrical system.
