Technical Data: Capacities

Refrigerant R134a and refrigerant oil, refer to REFRIGERANT R134A CAPACITIES, REFRIGERANT OIL AND APPROVED REFRIGERANT OILS .

NOTE:

Pay attention to the different capacities for refrigerant R134a in vehicles without a rear A/C unit (with an evaporator) and in vehicles with a rear Air Conditioning (A/C) unit (with two evaporators), refer to MAINTENANCE, DIAGNOSIS .

-- Discharging, evacuating and recharging refrigerant circuit, refer to REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .

-- Operate the A/C system after filling the refrigerant circuit, refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING OPERATION AFTER FILLING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .

NOTE:

Depending on the time period of production and the engine, the compressor construction type may vary .

Depending on the type of A/C compressor, different refrigerant oil capacities can be provided for the refrigerant circuit and MAINTENANCE, DIAGNOSIS .

Always fill refrigerant circuit as far as upper tolerance limit (some refrigerant remains in filler hoses).
