Brake System And Shock Absorbers, Visually Inspecting For Leaks And Damage

Check The Following Components For Leaks And Damages:
- Brake master cylinder
- Brake booster (with ABS: hydraulic unit)
- Brake pressure regulator
- Brake caliper
- Shock absorber (only during Inspection)
- Dust caps on the brake fluid bleeder valves (must be present)
- Caps on guide bushings (must be present)
-- Make sure the brake hoses are not twisted.
-- Make sure that no brake hose must touch any vehicle components at the maximum steering angle.
-- Check all brake hoses for chafing, porosity and cracks.
-- Check the brake lines for corrosion.
-- Check brake connections and mounts for proper seating, leakages and corrosion.
-- Check the brake lines and brake hoses for correct placement and attachment in the brackets.
