19.3.1 Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791-, Removing and Installing

The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- is located behind the storage compartment in the driver footwell above the relay panel. The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- also controls the parking aid functions on vehicles with rear parking aid or PLA.

Removing 

• Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
• Remove the trim inside the driver footwell. Refer to Footwell Trim, Removing and Installing.
• Push the retainers apart -arrows- and remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- from the mount with the wires still connected.

• Disconnect the three connectors -arrows- and remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- -1- from the vehicle.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal.
