19.3.2 Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791-, Removing and Installing, RHD
The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- is located behind the storage compartment in the driver footwell above the relay panel. The Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- also controls the parking aid functions on vehicles with rear parking aid or PLA.
Removing
- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the trim inside the driver footwell. Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.
- Remove the instrument panel relay panel (RHD). Refer to 3.2.2 Instrument Panel Relay Panel, Removing and Installing. .
- Press the button -arrow- and remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- -2- from the mount -1-.
- Disconnect the three connectors -arrows- and remove the Parallel Parking Assistance Control Module - J791- -1- from the vehicle.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
