Intake Manifold Upper Section, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

Remove the seals from the intake manifold lower section and install them again just installing the intake manifold lower section to keep them clean.

-- Install the sealing rings in the intake manifold upper section and lightly coat them with clean engine oil.

-1- >>large<< sealing rings

-2- >>small<< gaskets

-- Mount the intake manifold upper section onto the intake manifold lower section.

-- Tighten intake manifold upper section/intake manifold lower section retaining bolts evenly starting from the inside and working toward the outside -1 to 5-. Tightening specification: 10 Nm.

-- Then tighten mounting bolts on intake manifold support.

Further assembly is performed in the reverse order of the removal.

Tightening specifications. Refer to OVERVIEW - INTAKE MANIFOLD .
