GEAR RATIO CALCULATION SPECIFICATION

	5th Gear	Final Drive
Drive gear	ZG₁ = 39	ZA₁ = 18
Driven gear	ZG₂ = 29	ZA₂ = 61

i = Z 2: Z ₁¹⁾

i_G = gear ratio = ZG₂ : ZG₁ = 29: 39= 0.744

i_A = axle ratio= ZA₂ : ZA₁ = 61: 18= 3.389

ⁱ total = total ratio = i_G x i_A = 0.744 x 3.389= 2.521

1) Z₁ = Number of teeth on the drive gear, Z 2 = Number of teeth on the driven gear
