Rear Door Window, Removing And Installing: Installing

NOTE:

The spreader plug and expanding pin must be replaced when performing assembly work on the door window.

Check the window glass -1- for damage before installing the spreader plug -3- and the expanding pin -4-.

-- Install the spreader plug -4- with the window glass removed -1- and center it.

-- Press the expanding pin -3- flush into spreader plug -4-.

-- Insert the door window -9- into the door -1- -arrows- and push it into the window regulator guide slot.

-- Using light pressure from above, engage the window glass -1- in the window regulator -2-.

-- Continue by performing the steps used in removal in reverse order.

-- A function test must be performed before the door trim panel is installed.
