Halogen Headlamps, Adjusting

NOTE:

Adjusting the headlamps is invoiced separately.

NOTE:

Make sure, if present, both headlamps work identically when operating the manual headlamp range control.

-- Adjust the corresponding angle dimension on the headlamp adjusting unit. Refer to HALOGEN HEADLAMPS, ADJUSTING for ECE headlamps, or refer to HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT, CHECKING (SAE) for SAE headlamps.

Right Headlamp Lateral and Height Adjustment:

Adjusting screws for left headlamp are a mirror image.

Adjusting screw (inner hex socket) for height adjustment of low beam cut-off line -1-.
Adjustment screw (inner hexagon) for lateral adjustment of low beam cut-off line -2-.

NOTE:

In some markets the lateral adjustment adjusting screw -2- is sealed. Lateral adjustment is not permitted.

-- First turn adjustment screw -1- to adjust height of cut-off line.

-- Then the side adjustment must be checked and corrected with adjustment screw -2- if necessary.
