Display And Control Head Front Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

The display control head for the heat and fresh air are comprised of two separable housing halves (front and rear sections). Position the display control head knobs in the following positions before removal.

Knob for heat control on "cold",

Knob for blower on "0",

Knob for air vent direction on "footwell".

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Pry out the trim -1- using the :3409 .

-- Remove the trim -1- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- from the display control head -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -1-.

-- Remove the front section of the display control head -3- from the rear section, while disconnecting the connectors -2-.
