Overview - A/C Compressor

NOTE:

Different ribbed belt pulley versions may be installed, depending on A/C compressor type and engine version. Refer to the Parts Information.

  1. Cap
  2. Cover with Locking Ring
    • Remove carefully using a small screwdriver or needle-nose pliers (pay special attention to ribbed belt pulley when doing this)
  3. Drive Plate
    • Remove with the Wrench - Pin Type:3212 
  4. Circlip
    • Replace after removing  .
    • Install on correct side (flat side toward A/C compressor)
  5. Spacer
  6. Ribbed Belt Pulley
    • There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information.
  7. A/C Compressor
    • Depending on engine and market version, different versions can be installed. Refer to the Parts Information.
    • Clean the A/C compressor flange before sliding on the ribbed belt pulley
  8. Rubber Element
    • Decouples the ribbed belt pulley from the A/C compressor input shaft and dampens vibration and noise
    • For installation, lightly coat rubber elements, for example with tire mounting paste or a soap solution (as a lubricant)
