Left/Right Rear Bass Speaker -R15- / -R17-, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the side trim panel. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -arrows-.

-- Drill out the pop rivets -arrows- using a : VAS5134 and a suitable spiral bit.

-- Remove the Left Rear Bass Speaker -R15- -1- from the bracket.

CAUTION:

Always remove any shavings resulting from the drilling from the door, otherwise they may cause corrosion damage later.

If the paint on the door frame gets damaged during drilling, touch-up immediately.
