Rollover Protection
WARNING:
- Testing, assembly, and repair work may only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Battery Ground strap must be disconnected before performing any work on rollover protection.
- No one must be close to rollover protection when connecting battery (minimum distance approx. 1 m).
- ALWAYS install rollover protection in vehicle as soon as it is removed from packaging.
- NEVER leave rollover protection unattended!
- When removed, store rollover protection lying down.
- Do not install a rollover protection that is damaged or that has fallen on the ground.
- Roll-over protection must not be disassembled or repaired.
- When performing actuator test, do not place any objects on headrest.
- If performing a body collision repair near the rollover protection, then always remove the rollover protection.
- After servicing body near the rollover protection, check body for welding beads, deformation and chafe marks (compare with opposite side of vehicle).
- Persons in area of rollover protection can be injured when rollover protection is extending.
- Make sure nothing falls into the open shaft for the rollover protection. If something should fall into the open shaft, then under no circumstances should the rollover protection be pushed into the shaft.
