- Gauge - Gap Adjustment: 3371
- Trim Removal Wedge: 3409
The vehicle must remain on its tires in order for the door to be adjusted.
The front door is properly adjusted when there is an overall even gap dimension when closed. It is not too far toward the inside or the outside and the contours align.
Checking the gap dimensions. Refer to CENTER BODY .
Perform corrosion protection measures on the hinges and the bolts after assembling or adjusting.

Gap Dimensions, Adjusting
It is necessary to loosen the bolts -2, 5 and 6- on the A-pillar in order to adjust the gap dimensions correctly.
-- Remove the lower A-pillar trim panel to access the bolt -5-. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- To remove the bolt -6-, the instrument panel must be removed. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Flush Dimension Adjustment
The bolts -3- must be loosened in order to adjust the flush dimensions correctly.
Use the : 3320 with the respective bit for this.
Other measures, such as aligning the door upward, do not work. Pressure later will cause the door to sag again.
Adjust the striker. Refer to STRIKER, ADJUSTING .
