Motor Mount, Removing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Torque Wrench 1332 40-200Nm: VAG1332 
• Engine and Gearbox Jack: VAS6931 
• or Engine and Gearbox Jack: VAS6931 
• Transmission Support: 3282 
• Transmission Support - Adjusting Plate: 3282/71 
• Ladder: VAS5085  or commercially available

• Observe the safety precautions. Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Remove the High-Voltage Battery Charger 1 - AX4- bracket from the crossmember; do not remove the wires. Refer to [For engine(s) EAGA] Component Location Overview - High-Voltage Components .

-- Remove the pendulum support.

-- Secure the Engine and Gearbox Jack under the Three-Phrase Current Drive -VX54-. Refer to Three-Phrase Current Drive -VX54- CROSSMEMBER, REMOVING .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- from above using the Ladder: VAS5085  (the illustration shows a different bearing).

-- Remove the motor mount.
