Glow Plugs, Removing And Installing: Removing: Notes

-- Turn off the ignition.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

For cylinders 3 and 6, the intake manifold flap motor must be removed.

In cylinders 2 and 5, a combustion chamber pressure sensor is integrated in the glow plug.

Component designation: Glow Plug 2 -Q11- with Cylinder 2 Combustion Chamber Pressure Sensor -G678-

Component designation: Glow Plug 5 -Q14- with Cylinder 5 Combustion Chamber Pressure Sensor -G681-
