Power Fold Seat Control Switch: Removal

Vehicles with long wheelbase 

1. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. Refer to: D-Pillar Trim Panel - Long Wheelbase .

   Vehicles with short wheelbase 

2. Position the liftgate opening weatherstrip aside.

3. Release the clips and the liftgate scuff plate trim panel.

4. Remove the load floor cover.

5. Position the load floor storage compartment cover up.

6. Remove the vehicle jack assembly.

7. Disconnect the keyless entry rear antenna electrical connector.

8. Remove the load floor storage compartment bolts.

9. Release the clips and remove the load floor storage compartment.

10. Position the third row outer seatbelt retractor guide cover aside.Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

11. Disconnect the third row center seatbelt from the third row center seatbelt retractor mini-buckle.
    1. Press the release button.Use the General Equipment: Flat-Bladed Screwdriver
    2. Release the third row center seatbelt retractor.

12. Position the liftgate opening weatherstrip aside.

13. Release the clips and remove the liftgate opening upper trim panel.

14. Release the D-pillar trim panel clips.

15. NOTE: The D-pillar trim panel must be positioned downward to allow the upper clips to release correctly. Failure to follow this direction may cause damage to the D-pillar trim panel.

    Slide the D-pillar trim panel down, aligning the clips to the slots in the sheet metal.

16. Position the D-pillar trim panel aside.
    • If equipped. Disconnect the D-pillar speaker electrical connector.

    NOTE: Short wheelbase shown, long wheelbase similar.
17. Remove the interior tie down hook.
    1. Position the interior tie down hook bolt cover up.
    2. Remove the bolt.

18. Release the retainers and position the loadspace trim panel out enough to access the power fold seat control switch.

19. Remove the power fold seat control switch.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Release the tabs.
