A/C Compressor, Removing And Installing At Bracket: Removing
-- Remove the noise insulation under the engine. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .
Depending on the engine type, remove the right front wheel housing liner. Refer to FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CNSB, CNSA, CXBB, CXBA, CXCB, CXCA] and RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CRUA] .
-- Disconnect the connector -6- from the A/C compressor -1-.
-- Remove the bolts -5-.
-- Remove the A/C compressor -1-.
NOTE:
If only the sub-assembly bracket is removed, the refrigerant lines on the A/C compressor must not be loosened.
-- Attach the A/C compressor -1- to the body with something suitable, for example, welding wire -2-.
