| 2. | Fill the cooling system with distilled water | --- |
| 3. | Connect the coolant expansion tank bleeder hose to the :VAS531007 | --- |
| 4. | Clamp off the hoses for charge air cooler -1-, bleeder hose for radiator -2- and heater core -4- and flush the cooling system | 3 liters (3.17 quarts) of distilled water |
| 5. | Clamp off the hoses for charge air cooler -1-, the bleeder hose for radiator -2- and cylinder head -3- and flush the cooling system | 2 liters (2.11 quarts) of distilled water |
| 6. | Clamp off the hoses for charge air cooler -1-, bleeder hose for cylinder head -3- and heater core -4- and flush the cooling system | 2 liters (2.11 quarts) of distilled water |
| 7. | Clamp off the bleeder hose for radiator -2-, cylinder head -3- and heater core -4- and flush the cooling system | 2 liters (2.11 quarts) of distilled water |
| Repeat steps 4, 5, 6 and 7, but only pump through 1 liter (1.05 quarts) of distilled water each time | 1 liter (1.05 quarts) of distilled water each | |
| 8. | Clamp off the hoses for charge air cooler -1-, bleeder hose for radiator -2- and heater core -4- and flush the cooling system | 3 liters (3.17 quarts) of coolant |
