Transmission Support And Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Lift the vehicle.

-- Remove the noise insulation to the bottom of the transmission.

-- Remove the impact guard under the transmission support and bracket, if equipped. Refer to Body Front .

-- Position the Engine and Gearbox Jack: VAS6931  with the Engine/Gearbox Jack - Gearbox Support: T10337  under the transfer case.

-- Remove the exhaust system if secured on the transmission support. Refer to [For engine(s) CGFA] Exhaust System, Emission Controls , [For engine(s) CNRB] Exhaust System, Emission Controls or [For engine(s) CGRA] Exhaust System, Emission Controls .

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- from the transmission support.

-- Lower the transfer case slightly until the transmission support hangs free.

-- Remove the transmission support from the transfer case bracket -arrows- and then remove the transmission support.

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and removed the bracket from the transfer case.
