Selector Shaft Seals, Replacing

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Seal Installer - Selector Shaft Oil Seal: T10174 
• Scriber

-- When removing the sealing rings, pay attention to the handling of the scriber.

-- Apply ATF to the circumference and the space between the sealing lips of the new rings.

Installed Position:

The open side of seal faces the transmission.

-- Drive in the new seals with the : T10174  . Do not twist the seal when doing this.

-- Multifunction transmission range switch, installing and adjusting. Refer to Multifunction Transmission Range Switch -F125-, REMOVING, INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING .
