19.8.1 General Information
It may be necessary to calibrate the peripheral camera system components after servicing the vehicle. This may be the case if:
- One camera was replaced
- Replace the peripheral camera system control module (calibrate all cameras)
- After repairing components, in which the cameras are installed
- When adjusting the overlap range of the individual cameras
- After the standing height of one axle changes by more than 5 mm
- After the standing height of the entire vehicle changes by more than 10 mm
NOTE:
- When driving over a marking (for example, markings in a parking lot) in the overlap range of the camera, the lines may look offset when checking the camera.
- The offset may appear larger or smaller depending on the actual vehicle load, the shaking movements and the condition of the vehicle suspension.
