19.6.1 Peripheral Camera Control Module - J928-, Removing and Installing

The control module is inside the luggage compartment behind the right side trim panel and is attached to the CD changer bracket with Velcro.

NOTE: Code the Peripheral Camera Control Module - J928- after installing it and then calibrate the system.

Removing

Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.
Remove the side trim panel inside the luggage compartment on the right side. Refer to Body Interior (Luggage Compartment Trim Panels; Luggage Compartment Side Trim Panels, Removing and Installing).
Depending on the vehicle equipment level, disconnect all connector -arrows-, open the Velcro® fastener on the bottom and remove the control module -1- from the bracket.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

If necessary, replace Velcro strips -arrows- on bottom of control module.
