Heater And A/C Unit, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

• A second technician is required to install the heater and A/C unit.
• All cable ties and other wiring harness fasteners that were loosened or cut during removal must be reinstalled at the same location during installation.
• All of the wires and wiring harnesses must be correctly routed, and not kinked or pinched.

Vehicles Without A/C System

• The installed position of the seal -A- during assembly.
• All of the wires and wiring harnesses must be correctly routed, and not kinked or pinched.

Vehicles With Refrigerant R134a 

-- Fill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to WORKING WITH A/C Service Station (R134a) .

-- Start the A/C system after charging. Refer to WORKING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a/R1234yf) .

Vehicles With Refrigerant R1234yf 

-- Charge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to WORKING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R1234yf) .

-- Start the A/C system after charging. Refer to WORKING WITH A/C SERVICE STATION (R134a/R1234yf) .
