Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19-, Checking

General Description 

The Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- supplies reducing agent to the Reducing Agent Injector -N474- at a pressure of 72.5 psi (5 bar) when activated via a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) signal by the Engine Control Module -J623-.

The Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -Gx19- Contains The Following Components: 

• Reducing Agent Tank Heater (Heating Circuit 1) -Z102-
• Reducing Agent Temperature Sensor -G685-
• Reducing Agent Reservoir Sensor -G697-
• Reducing Agent Return Flow Pump -V561-
• Reducing Agent Pump -V437-

The Reducing Agent Metering System Delivery Unit -GX19- components cannot be serviced separately, and must be serviced as a unit.

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

• Multimeter.
• Wiring Diagram.
• Scan Tool.

Test Requirements 

• Fuses OK.
• Battery voltage OK.
• Switch OFF all electrical and electronic accessories.
• Vehicles with Auto. Transmission, ensure Selector Lever position is in "P".
• Vehicles with Man. Transmission, ensure Shifter Lever position is in "N" with Parking Brake applied.
