Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Engine/Gearbox Support Shackle (2 pc.) 10-222A/12
• Shop Crane VAS 6100

The Transmission Support 3282 can be used when transporting the automatic transmission and for setting up the Engine/Gearbox Support Shackle (2 pc.) 10 - 222 A /12.

-- Secure the torque converter with wire -A- to prevent it from falling when being transported.

-- Secure the upper Engine/Gearbox Support Shackle (2 pc.) 10 - 222 A /12 to the transmission housing.

-- Engage the Shop Crane VAS 6100 hook into the shackles as shown.

-- Lift the transmission with Shop Crane VAS 6100 and Engine/Gearbox Support Shackle (2 pc.) 10 - 222 A /12.
