Positioning Tool: VAS6131/17

Individual components of the positioning tool:

Dot Laser: VAS6131/17-1
Adapter M14 x 1.5: VAS6131/17-2
Adapter M12 x 1.5: VAS6131/17-3
Adapter M10: VAS6131/17-4

CAUTION:

Note The Following whenever working inside the engine compartment due to limited space:

Route all lines and cables in their original locations.
Ensure sufficient clearance to all moving or hot components.

NOTE:

When moving the engine/transmission assembly into the body, it is always necessary to bring engine carrier into contact on body using the :VAS6131 . >>Pulling up<< the engine carrier with mounting bolts damages thread inserts!

Work Procedure

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:
