-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC TESTER .

-- In the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, select "Guided Fault Finding".

-- Using the "Go to" button, select the "Function/Component Selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body
• Electrical Equipment
• 01   - On Board Diagnostics (OBD)-capable systems
• 17   - Instrument cluster J285
• 17   - Instrument cluster functions
• 17   - Replace the instrument cluster
