NOTE:

Use new bolts.

A new control module may be installed a maximum of two times on a used hydraulic unit, to ensure that the elastic seals, seals sufficiently.

Do not install a used control module.

-- Carefully slide the control module without tilting it onto the hydraulic unit.

-- Tighten the hydraulic unit and control module diagonally and in stages to the tightening specification using the new accompanying TORX^® socket bolts.

-- Install the connector.

-- Install the coolant reservoir.

-- If equipped, install the fuel filter and intake hose.

-- Enter radio code.

-- Code the ABS Control Module -J104- using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding".

-- After replacing the ABS Control Module -J104-, an additional basic setting must be performed.
