Esp Sensor Unit -G419-, Removing And Installing: Installing
The Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200-, the Rotation Rate Sensor -G202- and the Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251- are installed in one housing under the center console.
After replacing the ESP Sensor Unit -G419-, the basic setting for the Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200- and the Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251- must be performed.
Excessive shaking may damage the Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200-, the Rotation Rate Sensor -G202- and the Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251-.
-- Install In Reverse Order Of Removal.
When installing the ESP sensor unit, make sure it is seated correctly in its mounting without tension.
Never Force the ESP Sensor Unit Into Position Using the Nuts.
-- Tighten the nuts to 8 Nm.
-- Perform the basic setting for the Transverse Acceleration Sensor -G200- and the Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor -G251-.
Connect the :Vehicle Diagnostic Tester and select the function. Refer to , CONNECTING AND SELECTING FUNCTIONS .
