Selector Lever Handle: Installing

-- Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Handle with the Button on the Side

If the button was pushed in by mistake, the installed position can be reset again.

-- Move the button into the installed position. Refer to HANDLE BUTTON, MOVING TO INSTALLED POSITION .

NOTE:

A new handle is delivered with an assembly aid. Pull out the assembly aid just prior to installation.

Continuation for All

-- Install the handle all the way onto the selector lever and lock it.

-- Push the sleeve down to lock it.

-- Press the button after installing it.

NOTE:

If the button stays in the handle after being pressed, this means it was installed incorrectly. If this happens, remove the handle again and move the button into the installed position again. Refer to HANDLE BUTTON, MOVING TO INSTALLED POSITION . Then reinstall the handle again.

Further installation is in the reverse order of removal.
