- Check the harness connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals.
- If necessary, repair the faulty wiring connection.

- IGNITION: ON.
- CHECK: Mass Airflow Sensor -G70- harness connector terminals 2 to 3 for voltage.
- SPECIFIED VALUE: Battery voltage.
- IGNITION: OFF.

- REMOVE: Engine Control Module - J623-. Refer to appropriate repair information.
- CHECK: Mass Airflow Sensor -G70- harness connector terminal 1 to the Engine Control Module - J623- harness connector T94 / 23 for resistance.
- SPECIFIED VALUE: 0.5 Ω (± 0.3 Ω).

- YES:
- REPLACE: Mass Airflow Sensor -G70-. Refer to appropriate repair information.
- GO TO: Step 6.
- NO:
- CHECK: Wiring for open, high resistance, short or harness connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals.
- REPAIR: Faulty wiring or connector.
- GO TO: Step 6.

- CHECK: Mass Airflow Sensor -G70- harness connector terminal 3 to the Fuse -- terminal. (Refer to the appropriate wiring diagram for fuse location and terminal number) for resistance.
- CHECK: Mass Airflow Sensor -G70- harness connector terminal 2 to the Engine Control Module - J623- harness connector T94 / 65 for resistance.
- SPECIFIED VALUE: 0.5 Ω (± 0.3 Ω).

- YES:
- REPLACE: Engine Control Module -J623-. Refer to appropriate repair information.
- GO TO: Step 6.
- NO:
- CHECK: Wiring for open, high resistance, short or harness connector for damage, corrosion, loose or broken terminals.

- GO TO: Step 6.
