Test Step 5 - Check the Logic Ground for an Open

• Measure the resistance between the ground and the logic ground circuit in the power liftgate drive unit connector.
• Wiggle the harness and check for an intermittent open condition.

Is the resistance less than 2.0 ohms?

Yes

• Go to Test Step 6 Test Step 6 - Full Open Switch Circuit Open 

No

• Repair the logic ground circuit for an open.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
