Test Step 6 - Liftgate Latch Release Driver Circuit for a Short to the Logic Ground Circuit

• Measure the resistance between the logic ground circuit and the liftgate latch release driver circuit.
• Wiggle the harness and check for an intermittent short condition.

Is the resistance less than 10k ohms?

No

• Go to Test Step 7 Test Step 7 - Check the Liftgate Latch Cinch Driver Circuit for a Short to the Liftgate Latch Release Driver Circuit 

Yes

• Repair the liftgate latch release driver circuit for a short to the logic ground circuit.
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
