2014-2015 1.8T CPKA/CPRA Engine Codes-Oil Pressure Regulation/Retraction Activating
After replacement of an engine assembly, cylinder head or turbocharger, it is necessary to limit the oil pressure regulation for approximately 1000 km. High friction is taken into account during the break in period of new engine components. Oil Pressure Regulation/Retraction Activating must be performed after replacement. This results in higher oil pressure at lower RPM ranges during break in.
Go to ECM control module OBD select adaptation. Select Engine run-in oil pressure. Change current value from not active to active.
