Selector Lever Cable, Adjusting: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required

The Selector Lever Cable must Always Be Adjusted If:

The selector lever cable was removed from the transmission.
The engine and/or transmission were removed and installed.
Parts of engine/transmission mounts were removed and installed.
The cable itself or the selector mechanism was removed and installed.
Engine/transmission position changes, for example, were installed free of tension.
