The location of the G85 steering angle sensor in these vehicles depends upon the steering system.
- Electromechanical Power Steering:
(PR Code - 1N3)
The G85 sensor is located in the electromechanical steering gear.
- Hydraulic Power Steering:
(PR Code - 1N1)
The G85 sensor is located in the steering column (integrated into the clockspring).
If a GFF test plan has indicated that the G85 sensor should be replaced, it is critical to verify the location of the sensor to ensure the correct part is replaced.
