2014, 2015 (Passat, Golf A7) Auto Lock System Function for vehicles with MFI.
Please note that the function of the "Auto Lock" system on these vehicles has changed. If "Auto Lock" is selected in the car menu, the vehicle will also unlock all doors as soon as the transmission is put into "Park" or if the ignition is turned off, regardless of whether "Single Door" or "All Doors" is selected . The unlock feature is no longer independent of the Auto Lock feature as it was in the past. The "Single Door" selection only affects key remote and keyless opening operation (if applicable)
