Tire Pressure Sensor: Removal

CAUTION: Replace valve core each time tire is changed. Use only original valve insert from manufacturer, as it has a special coating.
CAUTION: Use only original valve caps from manufacturer. Do not use Comfort valve caps and metal caps.
  1. Remove tire and wheel assembly from vehicle.
  2. Dismount tire from wheel following tire changer manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Unscrew union nut. See Fig 1.
  4. Remove tire pressure sensor from rim well.
