Towing Recognition Control Module -J345-

The Towing Recognition Control Module -J345- is installed behind the left side trim panel in the luggage compartment.

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removing:

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

-- Remove the left side trim panel inside the luggage compartment, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.

NOTE:

The number of connectors on the Towing Recognition Control Module -J345- can deviate from the illustration depending on the vehicle equipment.

-- Remove the nuts -1- and the Towing Recognition Control Module -J345- -3- from the duo bolts in the side panel.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

After installing a new Towing Recognition Control Module -J345-, it must be coded, refer to Towing Recognition Control Module -J345-, CODING .
