GKF - Transmission Code
10.05.2 - May 10 2002
14 - Plant Code
14 15 - Time
001 - Serial Number

The transmission code is also listed on the vehicle data plate.

If the vehicle data plate is not available, a different transmission was accidentally installed, or there is no definite way to identify the installed transmission then:

Read the code directly off the transmission. Refer to READING THE TRANSMISSION CODE LETTERS .
