Engine Mount: Removing
Note the following whenever working inside the engine compartment due to limited space:
- Route all lines and wires in their original locations.
- Ensure sufficient clearance to all moving or hot components.
-- Remove the exhaust system suspended mount bolts -arrows- from the subframe.
-- Remove the pendulum support bolt -1- from the subframe.
-- Then, remove the pendulum support bolts -2 and 3- from the transmission.
-- Remove the pendulum support.
Do not place the Bracket For Engine 10-222 A/1 on the fender panels. They will get damaged.
-- Attach the shackle 10-222 A/12 to the right lifting eye.
-- Install the Engine Support Bridge 10-222 A with the Bracket For Engine 10-222 A/1 as shown and support the engine in its installed position at the right lifting eye.
-- Remove the bolt -2- and lay the windshield washer fluid reservoir filler tube -1- forward.
-- Remove the coolant expansion tank bolts -5- and place the tank on top of the engine with the hoses still connected.
-- Remove the engine mount bolts -A, B and C- and then remove the engine mount upward.
