Distance Regulation Control Module -J428-, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:

Removing and installing the Distance Regulation Control Module -J428- is the same as for Distance Regulation Control Module 2 -J850- and is described for one control module only.

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the nut -1- (20 Nm) and both bolts -4- (20 Nm) and then remove the Distance Regulation Control Module -J428- -3- together with the bracket.
